The Makala concert ukulele is a rock solid entry level instrument that sports easy feel, full bodied tone, and is a great option after our professional set up that is included with every uke.

The top, back and sides are made from Agathis, which has similar tonal properties to mahogany, and shows off a rich deep brown hue.  The neck is mahogany and the bridge and fretboard are rosewood. 

This is a great option if you are getting into ukulele and want tons of quality and playability without making a huge investment. 

SETUP:  This ukulele ships fully set up and adjusted, and will be ready to go out of the box.  

Our set-up includes nut and bridge saddle adjustment, string  action adjustment,   fret polishing and leveling (as needed), and overall evaluation of the instrument for any flaws in manufacturing or craftsmanship.

This set-up process makes a huge impact on the playability and quality of your instrument.  We have set up hundreds of instrument and know how to adjust your uke to give the best feel and playability.
