This little gem from Makai is a very cool recreation of a classic vintage ukulele body shape originally manufactured by Lyon and Healy in the 1920's.

The shape is not only unique looking.  It offers a slightly louder and more rich sounding tone from a standard soprano ukulele scale length.  The solid spruce top guarantees a nice snappy tone and no shortage of brightness.  The back and sides are mahogany and the ukulele is adorned with a snazzy pin striped binding and soundhole rosette.
