The Kala solid mahogany tenor has a great sonic balance. The ukulele has excellent string to string clarity which allows chords to ring clear and true without muddy overtones.

The uke is fairly light in weight, but vibrant and robust in tone and tambor. The all solid mahogany construction resonates with a warm and reedy character. The SMHT has a very nice and open tone right out of the box, although this will increase as the solid top ages and breaks in with time.

SETUP:  This ukulele ships fully set up and adjusted, and will be ready to go out of the box.  Our set-up includes nut and bridge saddle adjustment, string  action adjustment,   fret polishing and leveling (as needed), and overall evaluation of the instrument for any flaws in manufacturing or craftsmanship.

Every solid top or all solid instrument ships with a humidifier FREE of charge to guarantee that your  uke will arrive undamaged.
